Purchasing a new boat is an exciting milestone, but before you hitch it to your truck or head to the marina, take the time to complete a thorough inspection. Many new owners assume their boat is fully protected from the factory, but that’s often not the case.

☐ Inspect the hull for scratches, chips, or gelcoat imperfections.

☐ Check for transport damage around the bow, stern, and chines.

☐ Examine the rub rail for loose sections or damage.

☐ Verify the hull color is consistent with no fading or swirl marks.
